Houston International Insurance Group, Ltd. (“HIIG” or the “Company”) announced today that the Company has launched an E&S (Excess & Surplus) Brokerage business unit to provide liability and property solutions to the wholesale brokerage market. The unit will be led by Mark Boland, supported by a team of deeply experienced underwriters. Boland’s previously held roles as President, E&S at the Hanover Insurance Group; President, Hermitage Insurance; and Senior Vice President at Endurance. The new unit will add an excess facility in the near future.
