The Skyward Specialty team members recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where they dedicated their time to planning the fulfillment of wishes for children facing critical illnesses. With over 585,000 wishes fulfilled worldwide in their 38-year history, this experience underscored the transformative power of giving back and making a meaningful impact in the community
The Make-A-Wish Foundation creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. General Counsel Leslie Shaunty has supported the organization as a committee member for several years and brought her team to the local Houston chapter to learn more about its mission and efforts.
During the visit, our team worked alongside the Make-A-Wish staff, assisting with the logistics and coordination necessary to make each child’s dream come true. From brainstorming wish ideas to organizing key details, our contributions helped ensure that every wish was as magical and memorable as possible. Witnessing firsthand the dedication and passion involved in the wish-granting process served as a powerful reminder of how collective efforts can really make a difference.
