Ryan joined Skyward in 2021 as Vice President, Head of Specialty Programs with nearly thirteen years experience in the (re)insurance sector. Throughout his career, he has had the fortune of working for public multinational carriers in Swiss Re and Travelers.

Ryan Burke’s career spans multiple geographies, insured verticals, and product offerings with a particular emphasis on first party lines of business. His eclectic customer profile of large risk managed Fortune 500 business via the admitted retail broker channel, and individual risks facultative & programs underwriting of global cedants and intermediary sourced business brings a versatile perspective to Skyward in structuring and executing new MGA/delegated authority opportunities.

Away from the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with family, his dog, and cheering on his beloved Florida State Seminoles every Saturday in the fall.
