Chase joined Skyward Specialty from HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. in 2009 as an aviation underwriter. As the needs of Skyward Specialty evolved, so did Chase’s duties. During his tenure with the Company, he has served as the business leader/liaison for several of our MGU programs, including the successful Dealer Open Lot Program, as well as being an underwriter for the Global Property book. Chase also served as Chief Risk Officer for several years and was responsible for making sure the Company was properly mitigating its own risks.

In addition to leading our ceded reinsurance division, Chase assists in leading the Company’s Captives & Programs divisions, leveraging his expertise and relationships to respond to the opportunities of the fast-growing captives and programs markets. 

When he is not working, Chase enjoys running, watching college football and is a a huge Texas Longhorns fan. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Bridget, and three teenage daughters. Chase is based in Houston, Texas.
