The heart of what we do is helping people. We’re dedicated to moving the world forward, starting with the communities where we live and work.
We believe our people are central to making a difference in the communities around us. We recognize that change only happens with action and awareness. This is why we support our employees in their efforts to foster change by providing them with opportunities to continue their volunteer efforts in causes that mean the most to them.
The Company has introduced three initiatives to encourage employees to contribute to their communities and promote civic pride. These include granting paid time off for voting and volunteering in voting-related activities, allowing employees to take a day off to engage in charitable work of their choice, and providing every employee with a full day off to support diversity and inclusion through the SAID Day Off program.
Our commitment to community is underscored by the generosity of our employees and their deep dedication to making a difference in the communities where we live and work.
The Skyward Foundation, formed in 2020, is our employee-led, Company-funded 501(c)3 organization created to support our employees and the causes and organizations that mean the most to them.
The Skyward Foundation concentrates on four outreach areas: Environment, Health & Human Services, Food Insecurity and Veterans & Civic Services.
Engaging in Inclusion is one of our core values. We know that better culture begins with better conversations. In fact, the Company’s Social Awareness Inclusion and Diversity, or SAID, team, who’s an employee-led team of more than 20 volunteer members who share a passion for diversity and inclusion and seek to foster a culture where differences drive collaboration, transparency and engagement.
Our goal is for employees to experience an enriching, supportive environment where differences are celebrated and each team member can thrive as their authentic selves.
From the very beginning, we’ve been committed to building the company where we always wanted to work, with people we always wanted to work with. Creating a community where all our employees feel seen and heard is core to our drive toward achieving this goal. Through our six employee resource groups, all of which are fully employee-founded and led, employees can join communities where they can gain support and guidance and identify and advocate for areas of improvement within the Company.
